- In my opinion, you should choose Lure. It can save you in many situations, and some toons expect you to have it. Drop is yet another damage gag, and is low accuracy at that. In my opinion, it is not needed. Lure uses magnets, dollar bills, hypno-goggles, and a slideshow presentation to make cogs unable to attack or do anything. The gag goes third in the order of attacking. If a Trap gag is placed in front of the cog beforehand, Lure is the only way the Trap will work. The number of turns the cog is lured increases with each gag level: 2/2/3/3/4/5/15. Lure also increases the damage of a Throw or Squirt gag by 50%-for example, a 6 damage cupcake will now do 9. Sound will not get a bonus, and will wake up all of the cogs (generally a bad idea to Sound on Lure, but can be a good strategy in some cases). Drop does not work at all, and will have a 0% chance of hitting. Lure's base accuracy is 50%, but can be increased to 75% by gardening the gag. Drop is one of the more powerful gags that are used in Toontown. A flowerpot, sandbag, anvil, 1-Ton weight, safe, piano, and an ocean liner are dropped on the cogs. Not much is different about this damage gag, aside from the fact that it is last to go in the order of gags. Lure cancels this gag out. The gags deal 10/18/30/45/60/170/180 damage, which can be increased to 11/19/33/49/66/187/198 through gardening. With the addition of the new "V.2" cogs, which respawn as a skelecog when killed, Drop has become more useful. An example: 2 toons use 2 Birthday cakes (100 damage each) to kill a level 12 cog. Toon 3 uses a Piano (Drop) to further damage the cog, possibly destroying it. This has become a popular way to destroy cogs in Bossbot HQ. Pros of Lure: Disables cogs for a set amount of turns Can save you in many situations Allows 2+ turns to Toonup or use other gags Required for Trap to work Can be planted to increase accuracy Cons of Lure: Low accuracy, especially on the first two levels Does not deal damage Drop gags will always miss when a cog is lured Pros of Drop : The second-highest damage dealing gag in the game Is frequently used to kill "V.2 cogs" Cons of drop: Low accuracy Goes last, meaning that other gags may kill the cog first
