they rarely make fun of people whose ideology they agree with i.e. liberals. Will they just rehash the McCain/Palin/Bush jokes until their ratings cause them to get cancelled?

The Daily Show was around for years while Clinton was in office. They made fun of him, too. I'm sure they'll find something. Besides, there's always the nutjobs at Fox News to make fun of.
Probably make fun of the First Dog,but then PETA would get pissed,so they'd have to quit doing that.. Their ratings probably will tank.
Reminisce of the years under Dumbya. He, his Dick, McPain and Sorry Failin' have provided them with enough material for 8 more years at least.
Just days before the election Colbert had a show making fun of Obama's infomercial. They will still do what they do best, besides, there is always the Congress. Although Bush and Palin gave them far more material to work with than Obama likely will. It might be a little more difficult for them.
John Stewart has not been funny in many years, he is now more of a politician than a comedian. Their ratings will tank because they can't make fun of obama so they will have be dropped by comedy central. They have no more material left.
As long as we have the House and the Senate, they will always have material to make fun of.
